UNLESS you can convince a YOUNG, INDEPENDENT, SOCIAL MEDIA-SAVY EXTROVERT to run a Write in Campaign to unseat him.  100 signatures or 1% of registered voters (see https://www.ncsbe.gov/candidates/petitions/write-candidate-petitions) are required by 15 days sooner than August 3rd'.  i

If you live in District 1 it appears that during the timeframe Chairman Kirby decided to leave the Board, a stealth candidate, Lisa Perry, emerged and is running unopposed for his seat...she has no competition and gets a free pass she WILL BE your next commisioner.  She was provided an opportunity to comment on the Budget Tax Rate issue and so far has chosen to remain silent.  If she does comment it will be posted here, or perhaps the Albemarle Observer will do a story on her (and Miglorie's positions.)  As with District 3 YOU may be able to convince a YOUNG, INDEPENDENT MINDED, SOCIAL MEDIA-SAVY EXTROVERT to run a Write In Campaign.
